Our Africa’s Photographer of the Year is now closed for 2018! We can’t believe it either but we thought we’d share one last blog showcasing our favourites from the Africa Off the Beaten Track category to celebrate. We don’t have a winner yet so if your entries aren’t below, don’t fret. Our panel of judges is combing through every entry before they reveal the category winner. Once this winner is selected, we will crown our ultimate competition winner (chosen from our four category winners) who wins our grand prize.

In case you missed it, we’ve already announced the winner of our Wildlife Portraits category and you can read our interview with him to gain some tips and tricks for next year’s competition. Each of our category winners receives a pair of Swarovski binoculars to use on their next trip to Africa! Our grand prize is a nine-night stay at three respective luxury game lodges where our Africa’s Photographer of the Year can take some more inspiring shots.

Could Africa Off the Beaten Track be our best category yet? What are your suggestions for next year’s themes? Keep an eye on our blog for the interview with our last winner so that you can make your decision about who you think should be named the winner of our competition. You can still view our entry instructions to prepare your photographs for when our Africa’s Photographer of the Year competition opens in February next year.
